Please check if you have accidentally taken a wrong macbook by mistake. A fellow Part A cadet, Ray Ng is unable to locate his Macbook Air after training today.

Details of the Course are as follows:

Activity: NCC (Sea) Specialist Course (NMI Module)
Date: 17 - 18 March 2014 (Mon - Tue)
Time: 0715hr - 1715hr (17 and 18 March 2014)
Venue: Naval Military Expert Institution (NMI), Changi Naval Base (CNB)

Reporting Time: 0700hr
Reporting Venue: Tanah Merah MRT Station Bus Stop (The Side where Traffic Direction is towards EXPO/SIMEI not BEDOK)
You will see many people in Navy Number 3 or Pixelised Number 4 at this bus stop.

There will be free shuttle service from Tanah Merah MRT Station to Changi Naval Base and Changi Naval Base to Tanah Merah MRT Station. Please be punctual as if you miss the shuttle service, there will be no alternative way for you to get to CNB. Traffic can very bad in this area. Do take note that your parents are allowed to drop you only at Tanah Merah MRT Station Bus Stop and not at Changi Naval Base (CNB).

Attire: Number 3 Uniform with CPL Rank sewn, Badges donned and Beret

You will need to bring the following materials:
1. Student Ez Link Card
2. Writing Materials
3. A length of Rope of 1.5m and about 8-10mm in diameter
4. A pairs of Scissors
5. Masking or Insulation Tape
6. NCC Sea Spec Manual
7. Water Bottle

Important Information to take Note of:
1. Camera Handphones are not allowed in Changi Naval Base. Do not bring Camera Handphones.  
    You can bring a non-Camera Handphone if you do need to bring along a handphone.

2. Successful completing the NCC (Sea) Specialist Course and meeting the course requirements of the course will enable you to be awarded the RSN-NCC Badge, which will aid in your promotion to the rank of 3SG.

I have attached the Admin Instructions for your perusal.

I will be passing you the consent forms latest by Wed 12 March 2014.

Details for this Saturday are as follows:

Date: 8 March 2014 (Saturday)
Time: 0700hrs - 1200hrs
Venue: NCC Sembawang Sea Training Centre (SSTC)
Reporting Time: 0600hrs
Reporting Venue: MSHS (Sec) Front Porch
Transport: 2 way (MSHS to SSTC and back to MSHS) 

Instructions For Sea Cadets in the morning (AM session) From District Commander:
1. All cadets are to report at Sembawang Sea Training Centre (SSTC) at 0700hrs sharp for registration in their PT attire (long sleeve school/NCC shirt is advisable). Please DO NOT report late. One teacher officer is required to accompany each unit.
2. This morning session is conducted for your cadets and the expedition will start from SSTC to Causeway and back. If the weather holds fine, everything should end before 1200hrs and they will be dismissed from SSTC. Should there be inclement weather in the morning, the expedition will start at a later time. As such, please remind your cadets to make this whole saturday available for themselves till evening time after 1730hrs. Please prepare the necessary consent forms to inform their parents.
3. No transport will be provided for the cadets to and from SSTC. As such, you may wish to arrange transport from school or otherwise. No lunch will be catered as well. They will be dismissed before 1200hrs after the expedition.
4. Please remind the cadets to consume a full breakfast before they report to SSTC - this is important so that they will have enough strength to go through the expedition. Also advise them to have at least 7 hours of sleep the night before.
5. There will be elimination of cadets for MKE out of this second selection if their kayaks cannot stay within the main pack throughout the expedition.

Instructions to ALL Sea Cadets :
Remind the cadets of the following items to bring along: 
1.    Student Identity Card (EZlink card)  (compulsory)
2.    One Extra set of dry clothing (compulsory)
3.    Towel (compulsory)
4.    Medications (sea-sick pills, Panadol, if necessary)
5.    Sunblock Lotion (compulsory)
6.    Sunglasses (UV protected)
7.    Cap (compulsory)
8.    Water Bottle with water (min. 1.5L, compulsory)
9.    Gloves
10. Wet-PT Track Shoes / Booties (Compulsory) 
      ** Strictly no sandals or slippers of any sort allowed.
11. Track Shoes (compulsory)
12. Snack/Energy Bars to consume during the expedition     
      kept in ziplock bag (if you are hungry)
