Please do congratulate them if you do come in contact
with them (FT, subject teacher, at the corridor or anywhere).
Photographs taken at the event can be accessed via this link.

I would like to mention that since last year (2013), the
preparation, choreography and training for the FSD
competition has been entirely student-driven. The role
of the teacher officers is to support the cadets in all ways
possible, looking out for their safety and acting as quality
control. Prior to 2013, we used to engage a professionally-
trained dance choreographer to choreograph the routine and
train the cadets for the competition.

I would like to thank the choreographers/trainers, the FSD
team, seniors and supporters for the success.

The FSD team will be competing at the 6th FSD Grand Finals
on 22 March 2014 at HQ NCC. Please do let me know if you
would like to join us in rendering support the FSD team at the
Grand Finals.

One Team… One Dream… Barracudas...

Thank you and have a good weekend!

Regards,
SIR PHILIP

ISCEP (Australia, USA UK and Hong Kong)

Dear Cadet Leaders,

The International Sea Cadet Exchange Programmes (ISCEP) serves as a good annual platform to expose our sea cadets and teacher officers to other sea cadet organisations in the world. It is also meant as an incentive trip for deserving cadets and teacher officers in NCC Sea. Below are the schedules for the trip

1) ISCEP Australia (12 - 26 April 2014)
2) ISCEP USA (24 June - 8 July 2014) - Only for cadets officers
3) ISCEP UK (End July - Dates TBC)
4) ISCEP Hong Kong (2nd week of August - Dates TBC)

For each of the trip, NCC Sea will be sending a delegation of 2 teacher officers + 4 cadets. Cadets applying have to be Cadet Leaders and above (except for ISCEP USA for cadet officers and teacher officers only). They will pay a nominal fee for the trip if they are selected.

I am opening up nominations for the above-mentioned trips (ISCEP Australia and USA). An interview for ISCEP Australia and USA will be conducted in NCC HQ on 4 March 1530hrs at NCC Council Room. For ISCEP UK and HK, the interviews will be conducted at a later date. Do select the deserving cadets from your units for these trips. Attached is the application form for the above mentioned trips. Please nominate a maximum of two cadets per unit for each trip.

Individual completed hardcopy application forms (for all trips) have to reach me latest by 24 Feb 2014 (Monday). You can access the application form via this link.
I will be talking to you about this in detail on Wed during training.

Thanks.
