All the 11 cadets will come for the 2.4km run test on Tue, 3 April 2012 at the Serangoon Stadium (4pm).

Basic Health Prevention and Awareness


Dear NCC Cadets


To minimize the risk of H1N1 and/or other infectious diseases, all cadets are advised to take their temperature before coming for mass-based activities (school & CCA).


Cadets with fever shall seek professional medical advice and not come to school/CCA.


In the event that you have a fever, kindly inform your Form Teacher and also any of your NCC Teachers as soon as possible:

Part Cs: MKE (30-31 March 2012)

Congratulations to our sea cadets who have made it to the Mini-Kayaking Expedition (MKE) this coming weekend.

Please note that we are allocated to GROUP A (phase 1) from 30-31 March 2012 :

Phase 1 : Group A will report on 30 March (Friday) at 1600hrs at SSTC and will be dismissed on 31 March (Saturday) at 1730 hr.

IMPORTANT POINTS:

4. The participants are required to have a proper haircut for the MKE.

5. If any of the cadets (of each kayak pairing) do not turn up, the partner will be automatically disqualified from the MKE expedition. Therefore, please emphase this to the cadets concerned and their commitment to attend this. Do not make any prior arrangements/personal reasons as to miss attending this MKE and result in the disqualification of his/her partner.

6. Rations and accommodation arrangements have been indented for the cadets attending this MKE. Only MCs and no letters of explanation/reasons of any sort will be accepted from the cadets should they fail to attend this event. COs/teacher officers of the cadets concerned are to follow up strictly on this.

Please meet Mdm Wong during recess time, 10.20am (27 March, Tues), Staffroom Humanities Level 6 to collect the form and attend an important briefing.

Time: 6.50am – 1pm

Attire: PT attire (long sleeve if possible)

Remark: 2-way transport is provided

The expedition will start from SSTC to Causeway and back. If the weather holds fine, everything should end before 1200hrs and they will be dismissed from SSTC. Should there be inclement weather in the morning, the expedition will start at a later time. As such, please make your whole saturday available till evening time after 1730hrs.

Please consume consume a full breakfast before you report to school - this is important so that you will have enough strength to go through the expedition. Also advise them to have at least 7 hours of sleep the night before.

PART C: SYF OPENING CEREMONY

The Singapore Youth Festival celebrates the abilities and talents of our youth in the performing arts and sports beyond the academic. This year, HQ National Police Cadet Corps is given the honour of organising the Singapore Youth Festival Opening Ceremony (SYFOC) Parade at the Singapore Indoor Stadium (SIS) on Saturday, 30 Jun 2012.

HQ NCC will support the SYFOC by mounting 2 Guard of Honour (GOH) contingents and 1 supporting contingent.

Part Cs (those involved in MKE are NOT allowed to participate) who are keen to participate in this event, please refer to the schedule below.
