You are to fill up the 1st 2 page of the application form and obtain consent from your parents. Navy had not confirmed the date and place of the trip but tentatively it will be late Feb or March. Special arrangement will be make if it clashes with the school common test 1.
The swim test is scheduled on 20th Jan at Changi Naval Base at 1400. Please note that for the duration of the MSTD trip, the cadets will be at all time onboard the ship.
An interview will be held at HQ(NCC) on a later dates (to be confirmed) for cadets who had successfully passed the swim test. The purpose of this interview is to select suitable cadets as there is limited vacancy for the trip. Teachers officer will prepare the cadets before they attend the interview and from past record, Marist Cadets usually made it through the interview.
It is adviced that only cadets who are good swimmer and have no sea sickness apply for the trip. Cadets who had obtained approval from parents are to submit the form to Sir Teng on Monday 11th Jan 10 during the Upper Sec recess time at the teachers staff room. Failure to do so will mean cadet is no longer interested in the trip.

There will be a MSTD trip in Feb/Mar this year and we are allowed to nominate 2 Part C for this trip. Last year 3rd Sgt Marvin attended the MSTD trip in Thailand and it was an enriching trip for him. Therefore, i would like to encourage our Part C to attend this trip.
Part C who are interested to go for this trip are to inform Sir Teng personally on Wednesday 6th Jan 10 during the unit training. Please note that there might be one round of interview followed by a compulsory medical and swim test. Therefore, the applicants must be a good swimmers and someone who had at least past the Sec 2 Napfa test. Nominated cadets that are not selected for MSTD 01/10 will be given priority in MSTD 02/10 to be confirmed later in the year.
